*   Year in which at least one student scored a 100/100 on the NYS Regents Physics Exam.
First year (2001-2002) in which the Regents Physics exam format was changed, with a new grading scale
       which caused thousands of students statewide to fail this exam, as it required students to achieve 68%
       of the exam correct to obtain a scaled score of 65 out of 100.  This accounts for the unusually low
       performance on the exam, yet note that for that school year the student passing rate for the course was
       still a typical 97%.
* The NYSED continues to invoke a negative grading scale on the NYS Regents Physics exam, causing countless
     students across New York State to needlessly fail an exam which tests the basics of elementary physics.
* The NYSED has now released new grading scales which supercede those of the 2002 and 2003 Physics exams,
     as of January, 2004.  As a result, student grades on the Physics Regents exam have now been raised by as
     much as 16 points, contributing to unrealistically high passing rates.  Information about this, as well as the
     actual new tables, can be found here;

http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/deputy/_assessment/physicsconversion-fm.html
*   Data here represents only Pascuzzi's students (22 out of approximately 70 total).  2004-05 was the first year
       GCHS hired an additional physics teacher.

*   First year ever in which a student did not show up for *any* of his AP exams.  Thanks a lot.
