Physics 1 at Touro College is the first half of a standard general first year course designed with applications to the life and medical sciences
as per the requirements of the PT, OT and PA programs of the college. For students who are interested in later sitting for the MCAT exam,
much of how the course material is taught is applicable to this exam. The course is intensive, moderately-paced, rigorous, challenging and
requires a great deal of thinking in tandem with procedures students need to apply to solve physics problems. The course is non-calculus
based however students must be highly skilled with 9th and 10th grade algebra and trigonometry. Topics include the following;
